1. Your Account

• Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use Sharded. If you're under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian, and they must agree to these Terms as well.
• Creating an Account: Some features require you to make an account, which you can set up using third-party logins (like GitHub). Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Security: You're responsible for all activity on your account. If you suspect unauthorized access or a security issue, let us know right away.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Sharded to:

• Break any laws or regulations.
• Violate someone else's intellectual property rights.
• Harass, threaten, or harm others.
• Post content that's illegal, obscene, defamatory, or otherwise harmful.
• Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
• Mislead people or commit fraud.
• Disrupt or interfere with the Service's performance.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.

3. Your Content

• Ownership: Anything you upload (code, text, or other materials) remains yours.
• License to Us: By posting content, you give Sharded a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and process it—but only as needed to operate, improve, and provide the Service. For example, we may process your code through our AI tools or display your projects on your profile.
• Responsibility: You're responsible for the content you post and must ensure you have the rights to share it.
• Visibility: You can choose whether your projects are public or private. Public projects can be seen by other users.

4. AI-Powered Insights

• AI feedback is meant to be informational only. It's not legal, financial, or professional advice.
• We can't guarantee that AI insights will be 100% accurate or useful. It's up to you to decide what to do with them.
• The quality of results depends on the clarity and detail of the information you provide.

5. Our Intellectual Property

All Sharded content, design, and features (except for your content) belong to us or our licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you break these Terms. If that happens, your right to use the Service ends right away.

7. Disclaimers

Sharded is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no promises or guarantees about reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we won't be responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (like lost profits, data, or goodwill) that result from your use of—or inability to use—Sharded.

9. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice. By continuing to use Sharded after updates, you agree to the new Terms.
